Savory Mince

This savory mince on toast is deliciously easy. Packed with flavor, it's quick to throw together and makes a great midweek meal, lunch or even snack! Delicious!

Ingredients

  • 1 large brown onion
  • 1 packet (500gms/ 1 & a bit lbs) beef mince
  • 1 tablespoon corn flour
  • 1 tablespoon tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoons worcestshire sauce
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 beef stock cube
  • 1 cup mixed frozen vegetables

Instructions

  • Dice the onions.
  • Measure the rest of the ingredients.
  • Heat a pan and brown the mince. Set aside.
  • Heat the pan and brown the diced onions. Add the mince back in.
  • Sprinkle over the corn flour. Stir and heat for a few minutes.
  • Add the tomato sauce, worchestire sauce and frozen veggies.
  • Add the crushed garlic clove.
  • Dissolve the stock cube into half a cup of boiling water. Add it to the pan.
  • Stir and heat until the gravy thickens and you're done!
  • Serve on buttered toast or mashed potato. Garnish with parsley if you're feeling fancy!
